1. Our Delivery Model
We deliver puppies across India using three transport modes depending on your location, the time of year (we avoid peak summer for certain routes), and the puppy’s age and size. Unlike other breeders, we use dedicated human escorts — not unaccompanied cargo — for all deliveries.
Transport Modes
- Flight (in-cabin or checked, airline-approved carrier): The fastest option. Available to all major Indian airports. Puppy travels with a human escort in the same aircraft. Not available during peak summer months (April–June) for certain routes due to heat restrictions.
- Train (AC compartment with escort): Available for routes under 24 hours. Suitable for puppies 10 weeks and older. The escort travels in an AC compartment with the puppy in an approved carrier.
- Car (dedicated vehicle with escort): Available for deliveries within 500 km of our facility. Door-to-door delivery. Includes climate-controlled vehicle. Premium option.
2. Transport Cost
Transport cost is separate from the puppy price and is added to the Stage 2 (pre-shipping) payment. The cost varies by:
- Delivery city and distance
- Transport mode chosen or recommended
- Puppy size and carrier requirements
- Season and airline availability
We provide an exact transport cost quote before you make the Stage 2 payment — there are no surprises. You may request a transport cost estimate before placing a booking.

3. The Escort System
Every puppy we dispatch travels with a dedicated, verified human escort. This is the cornerstone of our welfare commitment — no puppy ever travels alone or as unaccompanied freight.
3.1 Escort Verification
- All escorts are screened for experience in pet handling and transport
- Escorts are verified with government-issued ID before assignment
- Escort details (full name, photo, and WhatsApp contact) are uploaded to your account before dispatch
- You may contact the escort directly from the moment they are assigned
3.2 What the Escort Does
- Accompanies the puppy from our facility to your door (for car transport) or to the arrival airport/station (for flight/train)
- Ensures the puppy is comfortable, hydrated, and calm throughout the journey
- Records and uploads Transit Video 1 at the point of departure
- Records and uploads Transit Video 2 during the mid-journey welfare check
- Coordinates with you for pickup arrangements at the arrival point
4. Transit Videos
Our transit video system is unique to PoodleDoodle Puppies. Two welfare videos are recorded and uploaded by the escort during every delivery:
Video 1 — Departure Check
Recorded at our facility before the puppy boards for transport. Shows the puppy’s condition, carrier setup, food and water provision, and the escort. Uploaded to your account within 30 minutes of departure. You receive an automatic WhatsApp notification.
Video 2 — Mid-Journey Welfare Check
Recorded during the journey — typically at a layover, rest stop, or mid-flight check. Shows the puppy’s current condition, comfort level, and any refreshments provided. Uploaded to your account as soon as a data connection is available. WhatsApp notification sent immediately upon upload.
Both videos are private and visible only in your account. They are stored for 12 months after delivery.
5. Delivery Timelines
- From Stage 2 payment confirmation, puppies are typically dispatched within 3 to 5 working days
- Flight delivery: typically 1 day from dispatch
- Train delivery: 1 to 2 days from dispatch depending on route
- Car delivery: same day or next day depending on distance
- We do not dispatch during extreme weather events (heat waves, cyclones, or severe flooding)
- We do not dispatch during major national holidays without prior agreement
6. Delivery Conditions
When your puppy arrives, please:
- Inspect the puppy carefully in the presence of the escort or at the point of receipt
- Check that the puppy matches the listing description — breed, colour, gender
- Confirm receipt by notifying us via WhatsApp within 2 hours of delivery
- Take the puppy to your veterinarian within 48 hours for an independent health check
Do not make the Stage 3 (30{80418c344c9ee7777cacd1055b0f5edb6b93d7f634bb401dd52f794214bbdd78}) payment until you have received your puppy and are satisfied. The 30{80418c344c9ee7777cacd1055b0f5edb6b93d7f634bb401dd52f794214bbdd78} balance is intended to be paid after you confirm safe receipt.
7. International Delivery
We do not currently ship puppies internationally. All deliveries are within the Republic of India only. If you are located overseas and wish to import a puppy to India, please contact us directly to discuss requirements.
8. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: airline cancellations, government-imposed restrictions on animal transport, extreme weather, natural disasters, or strikes. In such cases, we will notify you promptly, rearrange transport at no additional cost, and keep your puppy safe and healthy until delivery can proceed.
